1. Ayodhya

Ayodhya is one of the oldest cities in the country, mostly known for the Hindu epic Ramayana. 2. Ujjain

Ujjain is known for holding Kumbh Mela and is usually frequented by Hindu pilgrims. Apart from the religious significance of the city, it is also a favorite place for history buffs. The city is situated on the banks of River Shipra. Some of the attractions which are visited by almost all the tourists who visit this city are Mahakaleshwar Temple, Kark Rajeshwar Temple, Siddhavat, etc. Pilgrims also take a dip in the Shipra River and Dal Bati Churma is a famous cuisine here.

3. Patna

Patna is one of the significant places to visit in India that is known for its historical importance. The city used to be called Pataliputra during the Maurya period. During that period, Pataliputra was the capital city of the Magadha Empire. Today when you visit the city, you can take a tour of attractions such as Mahatma Gandhi Setu, Sher Shah Suri Masjid, Gurdwara Gobind Ghat, Kargil Chowk War Memorial, Kumhrar, Shitla Mata Temple, Biscomaun Bhawan, and Chiraiyatand Flyover. 4. Kannauj

5. Hampi

8. Delhi
