This is the most famous rock garden in India, so far. This is also known as Nek Chand’s Rock Garden and you can find here structures and sculptures that have been made by using industrial as well as domestic waste. You can also find a man-made waterfall here, which is why it is also sometimes called waterfall rock garden Chandigarh. The region where the rock garden is situated is rocky; thus, the name. The rock garden is spread across 40 acres of land and one of the main attractions here is Sukhna Lake.

2. Rock Garden, Darjeeling

If you ever visit the beautiful hill station of Darjeeling, make sure you take a tour of Rock Garden also. This Indian rock garden is not only one of the major attractions in Darjeeling but in the country as well. This is also called Barbotey Rock Garden and can be visited on the way to Ghum. 3. Venkateshwara Rock Gardens, Tirupati

This rock garden is popularly called Silathoranam and has been carved out of only one rock. The shape of the rock is of a natural arch. The formation of the rock dates back to the Pre-Cambrian era. Therefore, this rock garden is not only popular in India but Asia also.

4. Oravakallu Rock Garden, Andhra Pradesh

If you talk to the locals, they will call it Orvakal Rock Garden, so do not get surprised. The rock garden covers an area of 1000 acres of land and is known for the sculptures here. Located near Kurnool, you can find several ancient caves as well as igneous rock formations here. You can also enjoy boating in the lake located nearby to this rock garden.

5. Karnataka Rock Garden

Located near Hubli in Karnataka, the name of this attraction is Utsav Rock Garden. It is a cultural hub and a very popular picnic spot. In this art village, you can come across several sculptures, which are examples of fine craftsmanship.
