All these factors make it easily the best place to visit in Karnataka. The hill station is located among imposing mountains and is also one of the most affluent of its kind in the region.

Much of the credit in this case goes to its rolling green hills and the streams that cut through the dense forests and the huge spice and coffee plantations.

Udupi ranks rather high on the list of Karnataka getaways with well-known tourist attractions such as St. Mary’s Island, the Malpe Beach, and the Krishna Temple. It is at a distance of 60 km from Mangalore.
