The fort was built by Chitrangada Mori, a local Mori Rajput. The top attractions in Chittorgarh Fort are Kirti Stambh and Vijay Stambh, which are also called memorial towers. Chittorgarh Fort is also called Water Fort. You can find palaces inside the fort along with towers as well as temples. All these cover an area of 700 acres of land. The best time to travel to Chittorgarh Fort is between the months of October and March. Today it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is one of the largest forts in the country.

2. Fateh Prakash Palace
